So my girlfriend has started reading the first Dexter Book, from which the TV series is based. We are massive fans of the TV show, I think we watched the entire first 2 seasons in about a week.. we were glued to our screens! (By the way Dexter Season 3 starts on September 28 and I can’t wait!)

Anyway the first Dexter book is called Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. We had to goto about 3 differnt stores to find it because it was sold out – the show has just started airing on regular tv here so I’m guessing alot of ppl are getting into it.

So far is very good she says, I can’t wait till I get my turn to read it. We’ve already ordered the rest in the series from Amazon.

Here is the order of the books, because it was hard to find out -

Order of the Dexter Novels by Jeff Lindsay:

1. Darkly Dreaming Dexter
2. Dearly Devoted Dexter
3. Dexter in the Dark

There is a fourth book coming out next year too called “Dexter By Design”.
